An interview is scheduled during the registration process. The interview allows the project supervisor to meet all applicants directly, provide detailed information about the project and answer questions from the applicant. Applicants must submit all required documents prior to the interview*.
Applicants are notified that an interview has been requested by Volunteer Services. However, interviews are scheduled at the discretion of the project supervisor based on remaining project slots. Supervisors directly contact applicants to schedule interviews within 7-10 business days.
In some cases, project supervisors may elect to close or discontinue project slots without notice and may not notify applicants of the change. Applicants that have not been contacted after 10 business days should contact the Office of Volunteer Services to verify if the position is still open.
*Applicants applying to private listings may complete the interview before submitting required documents. However, all items must be received by the Office of Volunteer Services before approval is granted.
